One or two children household?

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about whether to have one child or two children. So far I have asked many of my friends and one way or another the two even themselves out. Now you have to imagine that me, as a data analyst, is not okay when the numbers don't tell a story. Only choice is to make my own story...
