Duct-tape to the rescue!

A favorite book can be read for hours, or in toddler time, over and over again and again. Needless to say that can lead to wear and tear to said book. What to do with the book? Fix it!

Being the DIY mom, I thought, I need to learn book bindery now. Then, I remembered the many Kindle covers I've made using duct-tape, and it became clear that I found a more simple approach. Also, using duct-tape, something that I already had, made it low to no cost to fix. With larger board books, like the picture featured, duct-tape makes sense. For smaller, more delicate paper books, washi masking tape - made of many different patterns and colors - will be perfect to reinforce loose pages and binding.
